Calleri better than Fletcher?
Why does our esteemed manager insist on bringing Calleri on in front of Fletcher? It defies belief. Fletcher has impressed when ever he's come on, Calleri doesn't seem to have a clue what he's supposed to do.

The thing is, if we hadn't seen most of our players before this season we'd be judging them to be shit, they've all been awful.

Re: Calleri better than Fletcher?
The Zaza thing seemed to be only a "loan" with option to buy after X games in name only i.e. in reality it seemed like we sort of have to buy him.

If he doesn't improve, I wonder if our contract allows us just to send him home in December.

He may get better but right now he's terrible.

Callieri slips or gets his feet in a mess every single time he gets a chance. It's astonishing he's so poor at finishing.

To be fair hard to judge any of the new signings when the whole team has been so fucking disjointed

Voice of reason. We don't see the players day in and day out. I can only remember Fletcher looking good in one sub appearance and he has had a few. Perhaps he isn't looking good in training....?

Calleri - who knows but sometimes players in a new country try too hard to impress instead of relaxing. He's a long way from Argentina...

Other than Carroll who are the other strikers who can lead the line in the way our formation is set up? I can only really think of Sakho.

Strikers what are they and how do they work.

That is a handbook West Ham need to buy.

A named striker still hasn't scored a goal for us this season

Re: Calleri better than Fletcher?
Not one player we bought will get in when everyone's fit. All we've done is wasted £40m bloated the squad put the wage bill through the roof I'd rather spend £40m on two players and make the first team better

Re: Calleri better than Fletcher?
zaza was not the answer for what we wanted. a striker that can lead the line. He's more of a sit in the hole behind a main striker player. he's only here for the payday. i don't blame him. i blame the person who brought him here. Calleri is a unproven gamble too that's not likely to pay off. these players and their like are nothing more than fillers. what's sad is we ain't bringing anyone through to challenge for a spot.

id be telling the academy coaches that i expect at least 3 prospects per season to be pushing for a place in the first team whether it be cup matches or whatever. if we don't see them, i can only assume you're not doing your job well enough and you can pick up your P45. This isn't personal. it's fucking business.

Has Fletcher been caught shagging Bilic's sister or something?

Re: Calleri better than Fletcher?
Sorry Chester you've got that the wrong way round. Did you go yesterday? Zaza was bloody awful - he must have spent countless summers at the Carlton Cole School of Strikers camps. Calleri on the other hand at least showed some good movement and actually wanted the ball. Fletcher should have played from the start as one of a pir of strikers.

Re: Calleri better than Fletcher?
Fletcher we own and has impressed
Calleri is a loan without option and has not

There is no debate to be had as to who should play

His continued use smacks of one of two things, Bilic having another dose of Antonio at RB blindness or a bout of fuck you Sully, you wanted him above who I wanted, so I am going to play him until you retract his second coming status

Either way, not good for the club
